TCI C0899 Vinyl Cinnamate (CAS 3098-92-8) is a photoresponsive monomer that combines a polymerisable vinyl ester group with a UV-sensitive cinnamate framework, stabilised with MEHQ. The vinyl group allows radical polymerisation, while the pendant cinnamate can later undergo [2+2] photodimerisation to form crosslinks on demand. This two-stage behaviour makes it valuable for photoresists, patterned coatings, and photo-alignment layer research.
