TCI C0176 Benzyl Chloroformate (30–35% in Toluene), CAS 501-53-1, is a widely used acylating reagent for introducing the Cbz (benzyloxycarbonyl) protecting group onto amines. Supplied as a toluene solution in a 25 mL pack, it is convenient to measure and dispense for research-scale organic and peptide synthesis.
