Collection: Homobifunctional PEG and Oligoethylene Glycols

Homobifunctional PEG and Oligoethylene Glycols — gathers oligo/polyethylene glycol chains with two identical functional groups at their ends—vinyl ether, amine, carboxylic acid, or NHS ester—that act as hydrophilic linkers in PEGylation reactions.

These homobifunctional PEG chains are used by bioconjugation researchers to link two biomolecules or to add a hydrophilic spacer between a ligand and a surface, for example through amine–NHS ester reactions or thiol-ene reactions on divinyl ether derivatives. Variation in chain length, from oligoethylene glycols to high molecular weight PEG, allows control of spatial distance and conjugate solubility in delivery research and surface materials.

Product examples in this collection: TCI T3460 765-12-8 Triethylene Glycol Divinyl Ether (stabilized with KOH), TCI B5668 86099-06-1 1,11-Bis(maleimido)-3,6,9-trioxaundecane, TCI T3198 68960-97-4 1,14-Diamino-3,6,9,12-tetraoxatetradecane, TCI B6080 101187-40-0 Boc-Amino-PEG3-Amine, TCI B4688 1008402-79-6 Bis(NHS)PEG9, TCI D0498 764-99-8 Diethylene Glycol Divinyl Ether, TCI B3728 756526-03-1 Bis(NHS)PEG5, TCI D1571 4246-51-9 Diethylene Glycol Bis(3-aminopropyl) Ether.

Pay attention to the chain length/degree of polymerization (number of ethylene glycol units or average molecular weight) as well as the type of end functional group, which must match the planned conjugation chemistry. All products are genuine Tokyo Chemical Industry (TCI) Japan products, with purity, packaging, and storage conditions listed on each item's page.
